I have decided to change riding disciplines and I have to sell my wonderful boy as I cannot afford to keep two horses. Dusty is 8 years old and a very gentle sweet boy. He is a Gorgeous Carmel colored Dappled Palomino and White. Lots of Chrome and a very flashy trail horse. I get the best compliments about him when I go for a ride and meet people on the trail. Dusty loves to be scratched and massaged and bonds well with his human partners. His favorite speed is just to walk but he has a nice smooth slow pitty pat gait and will also gait faster when you ask. I also have gotten him to canter a little bit but I mainly walk and gait on the trail and in the riding ring. I ride 90 percent of the time out on the trails by myself with him and he does great! He crosses creeks, absolutely LOVES the water and will play in it if allowed, goes up and down steep hills, over bridges, downed trees, trudges through the mud and blazes a trail where there is no trail. He is also rides great with other horses and will walk with Quarter horses and will follow all day or get in the lead and will ride the middle too. I ride him on a loose rein. He is not the kind of gaited horse you have to hold back all the time. As a matter of fact I just ride him like a quarter horse on a loose rein most of the time. He neck reins some but nothing fancy, not a reining horse type, just slow and easy. He is an easy keeper, is up to date on shots, worming, coggins, and farrier visits. He is currently shod on all fours just regular flat shod. He is naturally gaited so no gimicks required to keep him in gait or get him to gait and he can go barefoot if you like but I put shoes on as the ground out here is very rocky and dry and I have to cross the road and gravel roads a lot. He is good for grooming, bathing, the farrier, the vet, etc. He loads in my two horse slant load and my friends straight load with ramp. I ride Western and mainly trail ride and play in the riding ring and have started doing Parelli with Dusty. He is a very smart boy and enjoys all the attention he can get. He is currently the only horse I have so he is pastured by himself and he seems fine with it. An Excellent Loving Home is a Must for my Wonderful Boy! Please call or email for any questions you may have and for more pictures of him. I also have a few short video clips for serious inquiries only. Please email for the link to more pictures and some videos of him.

Going down a steep rocky hill on the trail with a motorcycle behind me. My husband was doing the video clips while on his motorcycle (racing dirt bike). Sorry for the jigglyness but he had to keep one hand on the steering and one hand on the camera…LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XQED1JsX9M
Another video clip taken Monday, July 30, 2012. I think my husband had trouble getting up the hill behind me while videoing. Dusty walked all the way up. Sorry for the jigglyness. LOL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pXor-gf-Jw
I was getting Dusty to gait on up ahead and my husband was having a hard time holding the camera still. Sorry for the jigglyness but at least you can see how calm Dusty is when he comes up close behind and then beside of us on the motorcycle. You can hear the motorcycle.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RczvrA2bZg Here we are in a nice slow gait up the road. I just love to hear that pitty pat gait on the pavement! Sorry for the wiggly beginning. My husband was sitting on his dirt bike taking the video clip. Taken Monday, July 30, 2012
